The Last of Us fans are calling for a sequel to "Joel's Resurrection."

The Last of Us fans are calling for a sequel to "Joel's Resurrection."

Seattle del Gólgota.– Following the release of the new episode of The Last of Us , fans of the show have asked the producers to make a sequel, but this time to focus on what would be a possible resurrection of Joel.

In the last episode, viewers were once again treated to the story's hero, who had been a golfing buff and now returned in the form of chips... sorry, in flashbacks . This has prompted many to demand a new series.

This week's episode of The Last of Us reveals a significant detail about Joel's broken watch, originally a gift from his daughter.

A flashback shows it may have belonged to his abusive father, adding depth to its meaning.

“I would like to lose him and let him return as a hologram,” suggested a fan of the series.

The campaign began on Reddit forums and quickly escalated to other monitored networks, where users began demanding a spin-off where Joel is alive again.

The impact has been such that a formal request has even been launched for Naughty Dog to develop a mystical sequel under the tentative title: “The Last of Us Part III: Joel's Resurrection.”

Fans have even suggested that Mel Gibson direct this new installment, an idea that seems difficult because Joel was never a carpenter or a fisherman.

Joel could appear in the new season as a spirit guide, a Jedi-like hologram, or even as a cool zombie who plays guitar with his teeth,” one gamer suggested, in case resurrecting him is considered “too extreme.”

And in other important news: this was the private concert that the group "Malcriada" gave us at the Deforma studio.
